Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church evolved from the Lutheran Church in Lavansville which was established in 1846. The church’s aim was to provide Christian education and worship for all ages, which we still provide today. Come join us for worship and fellowship!

From Somerset: (travel time = 5 minutes)
- Travel west on Rt 31 (toward Donegal) approximately 4 miles.
- After passing crossroads (billboard for Hemminger Homes on left), Mt. Calvary is approximately ¼ mile further
- Located on the left side of the road.
From the Donegal exit of turnpike: (travel time = 20 minutes)
- Travel east on Rt 31 (toward Somerset) approximately 17 miles (approximately 7 miles from Hidden Valley Ski Resort).
- Mt.Calvary is located on the right side of the road.
From Seven Springs Ski Resort: (travel time = 15 minutes)
- Travel west on Copper Kettle Hwy until reaching Trent Rd.
- At Trent Rd, turn left and go approximately 4 miles to Rte 31.
- Turn right onto Rte 31.
- Mt.Calvary will be approximately 3 ½ miles down the road on the right.
